Senior Speech & Language Therapist

Child & Adolescent Mental Health

Job Ref: SVHF/10/2023

Permanent Part-time, 17.5hrs per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join a small dynamic team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will provide Speech & Language Therapy services for our adolescent inpatient unit. They will attend the inpatient multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary therapeutic programme.

The Clinical Nurse Manager I will be responsible for the management, recovery oriented care and treatment of service users, to ensure that the optimum standard of nursing care is provided in compliance with An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachasi na hÉireann (NMBI) Guidelines, Mental Health Act 2001, Rules, Codes and Regulation, Mental Health commission Judgement Support Framework and Policies.

As a Voluntary Hospital we provide a comprehensive mental health service for inpatient and the community encompassing adolescents, adult, psychiatry of later life, acute day hospital and home-based care. We currently have Staff Nurse (RPN) vacancies across the service and are seeking self motivated, dynamic nurses with an interest in progressing their careers.


Requirements:
• Suitable qualification in psychiatric nursing.
• Experience of working in mental health services.
• Experience of working in adult / adolescent / psychiatry of later life preferred.
• Registered / entitled to register with An Bord Altranais in Psychiatric Division.
